This page explains how MACC Campus handles information used for account access, integrity learning, quizzes, content playback, progress tracking, and app improvement.
MACC Campus is an integrity education application with learning modules, quizzes, videos, audio content, progress tracking, and account features. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the mobile application.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account information, including your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
- Profile information you provide, such as university, institution, occupation, learning objective, and optional profile fields.
- Learning and gameplay information, including quiz attempts, scores, points, badges, completed modules, completed scenarios, streaks, and progress history.
- App usage information collected through Firebase Analytics, such as app interactions, screens viewed, device/app identifiers, and basic technical information.
- Technical information needed to operate Firebase services, including authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, and optional Firebase Cloud Messaging.
How We Use Information
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide learning modules, quizzes, videos, audio content, and progress tracking.
- Personalize your learning experience and show achievements.
- Maintain app security, troubleshoot issues, and improve app performance.
- Understand aggregate app usage and improve educational content.
- Send service-related notifications if notification features are enabled.
Third-Party Services
MACC Campus uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. The app also supports Google Sign-In. These services may process data as necessary to provide authentication, storage, analytics, and app functionality.
Tracking and Advertising
MACC Campus does not display third-party advertising in the app. We do not use collected data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes unless this policy is updated and required consent is obtained.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the app, when required by law, or when necessary to protect the app, users, or the public.
Data Retention
We retain account, profile, and learning progress data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the app. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account in the app from the Profile screen. Account deletion removes your app profile and requests deletion of your authentication account. You may also request help through the account deletion page.
Children
MACC Campus is intended for educational use. If the app is made available to younger users, use should follow applicable school, institutional, parental, and legal requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
